An employee of Timviec who has been helping people with their CVs for the past years stated, “The problem is not when someone does not have much to add to their CV but when they have way too much to add. For instance, a person who has been in the field of research for more than a decade might have 20 published papers and might have attended just as many seminars. Including all of these in a CV is impossible. Brevity is the key and therefore one has to handpick a select few and mention the list is not exhaustive. This part requires some strategy depending upon the position one is applying for or the institute where one is applying.”

While this is certainly one sort of problem, novice CV makers face another kind of problem. They might not know how to frame a CV or what to include in case they have little to no experience. A student who recently used their service commented, “All problems are all sorted by TimViec and they prepared my CV in such a creative way that the panelists seemed impressed during the interview. Hundreds of candidates had applied for the position and in such circumstances, it is easy to get lost in the crowd, but I managed to stand out. My interview went well but I think I also made a good impression in the first place with a CV which was professional and yet had its personality.”
